- Duration: 1 hour, 150-400 pax
- Zoom set up and session recording
- *Dates confirmed by payment.
- Presentation material will be shared before workshop for review
- i) latest development and opportunity in the LAE
- ii) Core drone technology
- iii) Drone application in multi-disciplinary industry
- 2- hour trial session
- i) Practice (50 pax)
- W3m x L3m x H2m transparent dome will be provided
- approximately 50 participants will take part in a drone activity session organized into six groups, with around eight players per group.
- Each group will engage in one-hour sessions where participants will operate drones in teams of two (e.g., AB, CD, EF).
- A total of six drones will be provided for the activity.
- Under supervision, participants will practice fundamental drone control skills, including
- i) ascending and descending,
- ii) forward and backward movement, and
- iii) circular turns within a designated tent area.
- The session aims to promote teamwork, coordination, and hands-on experience in safe drone operation.
- ii) Timed Game Challenge (50 pax)
- participants will engage in a timed drone competition featuring (2) parallel tracks.
- Each pilot will complete a precision flight course designed to test control accuracy and speed. The sequence includes:
- 1) take-off,
- 2) navigating through a large lower circle,
- 3) passing a higher circle,
- 4) flying through a tunnel,
- 5) performing a turnaround, and
- 6) returning to the landing site.
- The order of team participation will be determined by a lucky draw.
- Groups will compete to achieve the shortest completion time while maintaining stable flight and safe operation.
- This activity encourages focus, spatial awareness, and fine motor coordination, providing students with an exciting challenge that combines technical skill with friendly competition.
- Certificate and souvenir will be provided to all participants.
*For safety assurance, each drone is enclosed within a soft silicone soccer-style protective case. This design minimizes impact risk and enhances safety for participants and nearby attendees during operation, especially in enclosed spaces such as the transparent dome area.
**The drones used in this activity are the same models adopted by 10+ schools and institutions for STEM training and space-themed competitions, ensuring both reliability and educational value in hands-on learning.
